Hi, I’m Sarah Summers, a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and 500-hour Yoga Teacher. My mission is to guide individuals and groups toward vibrant health and balanced living. I believe true well-being is holistic—it’s about nourishing every part of your life, from your emotional health and relationships to your mindset and environment.
My journey into wellness began at a low point in my life when I felt utterly disconnected and overwhelmed. I was stuck in a cycle of perfectionism and apathy, just going through the motions without a sense of balance or joy. I vividly remember sitting in my tiny NYC apartment one day, feeling frustrated and unmotivated but deeply yearning for something to change. On a whim, I walked to a nearby yoga studio and attended my first class. That class introduced me to the concept of the mind-body connection, something I had never truly understood before. For the first time, I experienced how tuning into my body and breath could bring me clarity and calm.
From that moment, I began exploring holistic health, delving into how beliefs, habits, and even my environment were shaping my well-being. I realized that health isn’t just about eating well or exercising—it’s about addressing all aspects of life. As I reflected on my struggles with anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt, I discovered that so much of my inner turmoil stemmed from beliefs like “self-care is selfish” and “resting is laziness.” These beliefs kept me trapped in a cycle of burnout and frustration, unable to move forward.
Through self-awareness and small, intentional changes, I began to break free from those patterns. I started prioritizing balance in my mind, body, and soul, letting go of unrealistic standards and focusing on what truly nourished me. Slowly, I transformed my life from surviving to thriving. This transformation fuels my passion for helping others create their own vibrant, fulfilling lives. To deepen my expertise, I earned a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from New York Yoga (2019), an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach credential from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (2020), and a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from the Jason Crandell Yoga Method (2024).
I approach coaching with empathy and a deep understanding that everyone’s journey is unique. Whether I’m working one-on-one or with groups, my goal is to create a supportive space where you can uncover limiting beliefs, celebrate small wins, and take practical steps toward your goals. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than witnessing the incredible growth and resilience of my clients.
Yoga is a cornerstone of my practice because it’s a tool that anyone can use to cultivate mindfulness, self-awareness, and physical well-being. I believe yoga is for everyone, no matter their age, background, or experience. Through group yoga sessions and corporate wellness programs, I love creating a sense of community while helping participants experience the profound benefits of this practice.
Before fully dedicating myself to wellness coaching, I worked in client relations and project management in NYC, where I honed skills like strategic thinking and relationship-building. These experiences shape the way I design wellness programs today—whether for individuals or organizations—ensuring they’re effective, approachable, and aligned with specific goals.
When I’m not coaching or teaching, you can find me hiking with my husband, experimenting with new recipes, or diving into the latest research on mindfulness and holistic health. I believe that every step toward wellness—no matter how small—is worth celebrating, and I’m here to cheer you on as you create a life filled with self-love, empowerment, and balance.
